Mountain Transit offers Fixed Route, Off-the-Mountain (OTM), and Dial-a-Ride services, making it easy to navigate the rural San Bernardino Mountain communities, including Big Bear Valley, Crestline, Lake Arrowhead, and Running Springs.
As a key part of our mountain community, Mountain Transit is managed by the Mountain Area Regional Transit Authority. This rural transit agency was formed in December 1993 through a joint powers agreement between the City of Big Bear Lake and San Bernardino County, ensuring reliable transportation options for residents and visitors alike.
